Rhett came home one happy hunter this morning in 20 degree weather after killing his first duck.......it was his FIRST shot and the duck was flying. We are pretty impressed.

My husband is a contractor/painter. He called me one day from a closet he was working in. He said that he really felt like we needed to adopt a child. He had been in that closet telling God all the reasons why we couldn't adopt...and God was answering all of his questions and reassuring him of His call on our lives. I liked seeing your updates, Brandi. Thanks. Congratulations to Rhett and Richard on their ducks. Is Rhett 7 yet, or does he go on record as the best sure-shot 6-year-old ever? I thought I remembered he was a couple of weeks shy of being 7.
